It’s Me

I have so many thoughts and ideas that I want to blog but I have to keep reminding myself to slow down. I don’t want to get my plate so full that it gets too complicated and I can’t keep up and manage something that is meant to be enjoyable. I want to keep it basic.

So here is something basic; it’s basically me.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I started out as a baby.” LOL!PSX_20180814_113902.jpg I was my Momma’s real life baby doll. (I still love dressing up)

I grew up with a green thumb thanks to guidance from my Mom. (My green thumb may need some priming now that adult life has kicked in)PSX_20180814_113958.jpg I was always outside and loved every minute of it. (I will still be outside every chance I get)

I loved school from the get go and on. (I even did two years in one and Graduated from High School 1 year earlier than expected)PSX_20180814_114031.jpgI loved it so much that I went for bigger and better things. (I used my certifications later on and worked as a Certified Medical Assistant in a Pediatrics Office for 5 years)PSX_20180814_114259.jpg

Even though I enjoyed learning, my Senior photo shoot brought upon a sigh of relief. (Fun Fact: This was the same outfit I wore to my Graduation. My matching Leopard heels actually broke while I was giving my speech! I was just glad the podium was big enough that it hid the incident. LOL! Then I had to walk back to my seat though and pretend like nothing happened)FB_IMG_1533836205735.jpg

All through the years, my favorite things were to experience life at its fullest and make others laugh while doing it. (I would fish every day if I could and I firmly believe that laughter is the best medicine)PSX_20180814_114511.jpg PSX_20180814_114813.jpg

One of my favorite experiences happened like this. (It was cold and rainy and the skyline was beautiful despite the blurry photo quality. The memory will last a lifetime)PSX_20180814_114941.jpg

My best friend who can make me laugh at the drop of a hat wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and I felt so honored! (I will share how we meet later in a future blog)PSX_20180814_115051.jpg

The Wedding was one of the best days of my life! (I will do a blog in the future of our Wedding and share more details)FB_IMG_1534266881307.jpg

I love the beautiful life that God has blessed me with and I look forward to what it will bring in the future. After all, it has made me who I am today. (This is me, in my element, at The War Eagle Craft Fair)PSX_20180814_115217.jpg A fun lovin, Okie girl who loves junkin and thriftin as much as I possibly can!

Currently, I’m enjoying my days laughing with my husband and choosing to find happiness in the chaos of life. I find smiles in my Christian walk, family, and Poshmark, and I enjoy long walks on the isles in a thrift store. LOL! An oncoming smile is the new adventure of this blog. It’s so exciting to get to share some of my favorite life experiences and inspirations with you. (You can also find me on Instagram) I hope you enjoy following along.

It’s me.
