Many years ago I purchased a baby blanket in hopes of wrapping up a baby boy with it. I wasn’t pregnant. I bought it in Faith. Several times I would come across it in storage and think I should just get rid of this thing and a few times I almost did. Instead, I held on to that blanket of Faith.

Today, I got the Faith blanket out, washed it all up in baby detergent, and wrapped up my miracle baby boy in my Blanket of Faith.

I wrapped up my promised miracle in faith today. He loves it!

I am so glad that I never let go of that blanket of Faith. It was difficult at times. After three moves it would have just been easier to get rid of it and have one less thing to worry about but my heart could not let go of that action of faith.

You too may have something in your life. An item of Hope or even just a deep faith in your heart and you’re waiting for fulfillment of whatever it may be. Friend, don’t let go of your faith. Faith keeps you going. Faith brings you hope. I pray one day you too will be able to wrap up your answered prayer in faith. I can’t wait for that day.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
